1. Technologies we use
- Authentication storage: Supabase keeps the session needed to recognize a signed-in browser and refresh secure access.
- Preference storage: VectorDesk remembers light or dark theme and temporary authentication routing state on the device.
- Referral cookie:
vectordesk_referralstores a referral code, random click identifier, and timestamp for up to 30 days so a new account can be attributed to the referring member. - Security and hosting: infrastructure providers may use essential cookies or similar request data to deliver and protect the site.
2. Referral-cookie safeguards
The referral cookie is first party, Secure, HttpOnly, and SameSite=Lax. Client-side scripts cannot read it. It does not expose the referred visitor's name, email, or payment information to the affiliate.
3. Your controls
You can clear browser storage or cookies through browser settings. Clearing authentication storage signs you out; clearing referral storage may prevent a referral from being credited. Blocking essential storage may stop account features from working.
